Auckland Fair: THIS Sunday!

Auckland Fair: THIS Sunday!

Dec_Poster2014_A4

Yes! It’s this weekend! Also, why I have been so quiet on the blog as of late. I’ve been not only working my day job, but I’ve also been single handedly creating this beautiful event!

Our heads will hit the pillow just *TWO* more times before the Auckland Fair makes its Shed 10 debut; complete with a new look, new name and a new home.

Get your Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Blogs ready, because this season’s Fair is pretty much going to be the prettiest explosion of botanical beauty you ever did see: The Floral Stylist creating stunning floral installations just for the day, which will be on display throughout the Auckland Fair (*Read: stunning selfie backdrop), as well as an enchanting pop-up floral boutique. There will also be a garden-themed indoor cafe thanks to Picnicbox, with heaps of outdoor seating and relaxing areas under sunny palm trees, where weary shoppers can put their feet up and enjoy a bit of fresh Waitemata sea air.

I’m super chuffed about the bespoke wall art being designed by Endemicworld.com as you walk through to the market, and of course gorgeous new Market Money created by Sophie Oiseau (they’re almost too pretty to spend)…and the fact that there got a record number of 146 makers offering up their wares just for you.

There are two amazing prize packs to be won on the day, including the BUY HANDMADE prize pack, which you will be given an entry form for each time you make a purchase at the Fair and the VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE STALL prize pack where you, um, vote for your favourite stall. Voting forms will be next to the ballot box, so make sure your vote gets counted! The maker that wins the vote gets a special prize too, so it’s warm fuzzies all-round!

So come along!

Shed 10, Queens Wharf
11am to 3pm, $2 entry (kids under 12 free)
