Jessica’s Style: Best Dressed Boys

Jessica’s Style: Best Dressed Boys

I’m a sucker for a well dressed man. I’m not going to lie about it or pretend it doesn’t matter, because it does. I guess I think people look best when they feel comfortable in what they’re wearing, I like a guy that can feel confident in wearing a button shirt with a tie and still pull off wearing a pair of trainers on their feet. Having grown up being a teenager in the 90’s and falling in love with boys that skateboard, I guess I’ll never truly grow out of liking that style but I do like to think that it’s refined a little bit.

The look I’ve put together below is quite eclectic; a little bit polished, still quite casual and a focus on unique accessories. A skinny tie will keep it refined with a fresh shirt, keep branding yourself to a minimum (nobody needs to be a walking billboard) and don’t be afraid of a little colour. Wear clothes that fit you properly, which sounds totally obvious but it’s amazing how many guys either wear shirts that are too tight with buttons that pull or too large with shoulder seems hanging; when clothes fit you, you feel comfortable, which makes you confident and when you’re confident in your own skin, you look great.
